Killzone

Killzone is a first person shooter. It takes place in the 24th century, and takes place during a time of planetary colonization. Killzone was developed by Guerrilla Games and was released on November 2, 2004 by its publisher, Sony Entertainment.
Pretty much for this game you have two sides, the ISA and the Helgans. The Helgans lost the first war against the ISA and now they seek to get them back by attacking the planet Vekta. For the game play you can choose between for different characters and play four slightly different story lines. There also is a kind of survivor mode on the game, which was always my favorite. Pretty much it’s the basic survivor mode and waves of guys just keep coming at you and you just keep on killing them. I like this game a lot, and back when I had a PS2 this was the game I liked to play.

Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped

The next game in this series is Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. This was another game that was developed by Naughty Dog. It is a plat form game and was made only for the PlayStation 1 until you were aloud to get if off the PlayStation store for the PS3.
Overall this game is a classic. It goes along with the story line of the rest of the games and it is the same game play. The thing different about it is there is new levels and new villians. Now Crash also has a sister, Cocoa. In some levels you get the chance to play as her but for the most part you still are Crash. This game would happen to be my favorite one of the entire series and I would recommend checking it out.

Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back

Crash Bandicoot 2 was originally developed by Naughty Dog. It was released for the PlayStation platform in 1997, and then later rereleased in 1998 in Sony’s greatest hits collection.

For the game play you still play as Crash but this time around instead of trying to destroy the world, Cortex is trying to save it. Crash is then allowed on the N. Islands so he can collect all the crystals and they will have the power to control the planetary alignment. Overall this is a good game, it has good graphics and sound quality for the time it came out. This game is one of my all time favorites for sure.

Crash Bandicoot

Crash Bandicoot is a little bit of an older game but is one of the best. The original developer of the Crash Bandicoot series is Naughty Dog. Sony first produced it for the PlayStation platform. Crash Bandicoot was first released in 1996. This game was a big hit right away and is still one today.

Crash Bandicoot is of course the protagonist in this game. He was an experiment created by the antagonist Dr. Neo Cortex. The setting is on an island and you go through playing on different levels. As you go through each level you have the ability to jump, spin, slide, and belly flop. You also only have a certain number of lives, where when you lose them all a game over pops up and after that you can continue from the last level. To obtain more lives you collect wampa fruit and after getting a hundred you get one more life. This is by far one of my favorite games of all time, and I would like to buy a PlayStation 3 just to get all of these games again.

Halo Reach

Halo Reach was released September 14, 2010. Reach was only released for the X Box 360 for the reason that it was produced by Microsoft. On its launch date it gained a gross of $200 million, setting a new record for the Halo franchise. Players who bought ODST were eligible to play a somewhat demo of the game before it was released; this was mainly to get out some of the bugs of the game.
This game is set on the planet Reach, were the humans are trying to keep it from the covenant taking it over. This game is somewhat different from the rest of the Halos for the reason that you do not play as Master Chief, but as a different super solider named Noble Six. This game over all is pretty fun, the campaign was interesting and the story line was pretty good. Where it really matters though is the multiplayer and it was good for this game.

Halo 3: ODST

Halo 3: ODST was released on September 22, 2009. It continues to follow the rest of the halo franchise with being a first person shooter. The big thing that is different then the rest of the games you do not play as supertroop Master Chief. Instead, you play as a regular human soilder know as "Orbital Drop Shock Troopers" or ODSTs. This means you can't do all the stuff that Master chief could like jump higher, run faster, have an over shield, survive large falls, have advanced reflexis, and duel wield.
Over all this game was ok. I really never played it that much because i really never got into it. The campain was pretty fun I guess, but i really prefur Halo 1 over them all.

Halo Wars

The next game in the Halo franchise came Halo Wars. This was a change for the halo series. Instead of Bungie Studios, Ensemble Studios developed the game and it was still produced by Microsoft Game Studio. Halo Wars was a huge change in the gaming format for the reason, instead of a first person shooter, it became a real-time strategy (RTS). This game was released in North America March 3, 2009.

This game is all about strategy. As you play, you are a bird's eye view commanding army’s to do pretty much whatever you want. The main point of the game is just like a war, and that is to beat the other guy. This is a pretty good game if you are in to strategy games. It’s really not the usual Halo game but it was created by a different developer.
